By Steven Malik Shelton

For you I have stored up an ocean of thought.
Quiet, pristine, bright.
Your arms circle the city of sleep of my far off beautiful dreams.
A light shines through a crescent window.
In it I see your name, changed to gold and silver silk; that wraps me, and touches me, and speaks to me.
An ocean of thoughts, all stored in this sometimes quiet, often noisy city

And every time I see you, or think of you;
The most lovely melodies erupt, like flower petals,
And fall and clothe my spirit, with a dream.
