America, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee more than Justice, Palestinians, and Peace
So I’ll gladly pay the taxes that arm the Israelis.
I love thee more than Freedom, more than the Azhan
So I’ll call to prayer with silence, and not disturb the dawn.
I love thee more than Dignity, I’ll ignore what Senator said
When he called my veil of modesty a rag upon my head.
I love thee more than Decency, and so I cannot mourn
When freedom of expression produces hate and porn.
I love thee more than Sanctity, for Life and all things living
For that I’ll look away from the fetuses you’re killing.
I love thee more than God of the Bible, Qur’an, and Torah
Thus proudly wave the flag of U.S. Sodom and Gomorrah. Last update : 02-08-2002 01:28
