“O my son! keep up prayer!…” (1) Let us begin with the advice of Luqman (pbuh)’s to his son.

“Prayer (Namaz, Salah, Muslim ritual worship) do not divide the people as aristocrat-bourgeois, poor-rich, master-slave, worker-boss, it removes class differences.” (2)

“Prayer is a caress of sad and tried hearts with a compassionate (divine power) hand.” (3)

“Prayer is to serve Allah (the creator) with own heart, tongue, hands, feet and his/her body by the creature, and to thank Allah for God’s endless grants…to confess oneness and greatness of Allah.” (4)

“Prayer is the key of high levels.” (5)

“Prayer is the last will of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) to muslims” (6)

“The prayer of Muslims will be written in distinguished professors’ prescriptions in the 2000’s in the world.” (7)

“Dr. Thomas Hysloub : “According to my knowledge from long time witnessings and experiences: the most important element for arranging the sleep is PRAYER (namaz, salah). I am suggesting this opinion that the most important means that has ever been known is PRAYER to give security, confidence, peace of mind and serenity to the soul and nerves.” (8)

A poem by Yunus Emre (1240-1321) (considered by many to be one of the most important Turkish poets)

"Her kim Müslüman olmadı
Beş vakit namaz kılmadı
Bilin Müslüman olmayan
Cehenneme girse gerek" (9)

“Whosoever did not become muslim,
He/she did not pray five times…
Know that ones that are not muslims
They go to hell.” (9)

“The highest deed of the human being is to PRAY.” (10)
COME TO PRAYER!
