I live my destiny through a dream

Going from extreme to extreme

Following a forged glistering gleam

Searching for something in noble esteem

The rummage is pointless when awake

Not placing a dream is a somber mistake

Reality becomes the numbing ache

To recall your goals were not genuine but fake

Apon the pillow the head lies still

Yearning for its long lost skill

Of having certain manias fulfilled

Talent that proved to leak and spill

What is this enigma's lure?

To have us yearn for things unsure

For pointless affliction to endure

Cleasning water that proves unpure

Ask me not, I do not know

This weed can only grow and grow

And my mind it's seed shall sow

Blocking what awakenings bestowe

-Fajr
