I dont know what happened to this country; long ago it was such a great place. But even now its still is a great place, I dont like the way the government runs this country. And I dont think that people are stupid, I think they have been confronted with something they dont understand. Something that happens in America is that when they dont understand something they tend to strike out at it...

It is something that has been happening for over 200 years, I dont think there is anything we can do about those people who attack what they dont know. Out of 280 million people in America only about 4 million are Muslim Alhamdulillah. This number grows every day, however there will always be people that will hate what they dont know and will never try to understand that which they dont know.

Now of 280million people I would hate to think there is that many people like this. We hear about them on the news attacking Muslims, Masjids, homes and businesses. But just because that is all we hear about, it does not mean that every body in America is like this. Just as the American media reports about people who say they are "Muslims", but their actions say otherwise. I feel this gos both ways, If you only look for the bad then you will find it.

Yes we should point out the people who are attacking us, and work with the law to end it.

The laws protect us also; we have every right to live here, the Muslims in America, Canada, England. We are the best ambassadors of our faith we are the ones on the front line every day out in the world we must try and put our best side forward and show the people who don?t know about Islam what Islam really is!

At the same time we need to work with our news outlets to let them know about the people (non-Muslims) we come in contact with that are nice and understanding who go that extra mile for us. Likewise we need to work with other news outlets to try and show Muslims in their true light. Instead of the top story of the day being "A Muslim terrorist arrested" we need to work to bring headlines like "Muslim honored for volunteer work" to the main stream news in America.

The media in America is where most peoples minds are made up. I hardly ever see a nice story in the news about Muslims. If we can get them to show the truth about us we may find it easier to live here, and make us happy to be AMERICANS once again! INSHA ALLAH
