As I stare through my window pane
looking out to the life Allah gave
I see trees of green
Flowers with dew
birds flying peacefully
I see skies so blue
But As I stare through
my window pane
I think about a world away
Is there someone else
across the seas
Staring out at what could be
staring through an
empty hole
looking out at burning homes
plants and flowers that grow no more
skies of grey, smoke and flames
I look out at birds
flying in flight
They look out to
bombs gliding in fight
As I stare through my window pane
I see life
As they stare through their empty hole
They see death!
