To Muriel Degauque, First western woman suicide bomber martyred in iraq

Eternal are those souls who got the light
I can see her prideful smile
When Death embraced her in its lap
She defeated all the darkness
Who prevailed whole her life
The mosques of Baghdad salute her
And winds of river Euphrates whisper her name with dignity
Sun set that evening with joyful wonder
Since then
Whenever I see the sky full of glowing stars
I know deep inside my heart
She has become one of them
And one day, a new sun will rise in iraq
With the light she lit
