When I wake up in the morning to your smell,
I now your there and I can just tell.
While I climb the bus, you look out the window at me.
You keep looking even though the bus window is tinted and you can’t see.
I smile and wonder why you still look,
But the thought passes away when I look at your face and open book.
I’m home from school,
There you are working and I regret all those times I acted a fool.
Only God knows you’re the best,
Things happen and you still believe with your hands widespread,
Saying its all a test.
Mom I just want to be like you and that’s a true saying,
How can you not be an angel with all that praying?
Love like no other is mothers love,
I thank Allah up above.
They say you realize something is special when you lose it,
But I know your special, I realize it bit by bit.
You’re a strong lady,
Inshaallah one day you’ll be in Jannah and have it shady.
You always wanted to be a good parent,
You are and it’s apparent.
Ma this is for you,
My love for you!
