By Shameeyaa neo waMolefe
sacred salvation
mingled by pure intentions
to follow the unknown light
that might lead to the preordained path.

hives and hills
dogmas and doctrines
cliffs and valleys
mysteries and miseries unfolds
scattered life forms of self
finding one’s self mission journey.
imprisoned tremendously by these ostentatious theologies
from the pretending voices of pretentious posterities
proclaiming pastimes in these religions.
God fearing souls
God fearing bodies and fleshes,
blindly walking in the labyrinth circle of ideal thoughts, sharpening,
blood and swords.
power and domination.
poverty and wealth.
unhandy hands
distorting sacred scriptures
replacing censored riddles for story telling fiction verses,
leading ordinary seekers to
subjective scattered puzzle of ignorance
with unheard mystical slogans preaching
“sinner free your souls”
march! march!
march for haven on earth.
confused repression seeking to find ourselves in distorted philosophical doctrines

the cycle of life.
the sacred secrets of nature, nurturing
sand and sea
sky and clouds
wind and breeze
moon and sun
trees and flowers
birds and ants
soil and rocks;
sincerely and peacefully thanking the Architect of creation
for the tranquil beauty of patience, daily experienced .

the circle of life.
this seasonal climate of nature’s easiness
has restored sternly my Imaan*
to be at peace with soul
pray, fast, stay together and seek refugee in Allah (SWT),
and, not in people.
