Dates, varieties of them
A rejuvenating item
We take as the first thing
To breakfast in the evening
Strewn across the sheet
For the believers to eat
Converging at the masjid
A place so placid
Upon completion
After ablution
Begins the congregation
Followed by supplication
Some weeping
Others praying
One reciting
The other reading
This goes on
Until anon
The month
Is in its nth
