Thousands have been killed
Millions pained for life
How can the world move on?
Our country has been attacked
Someone felt much hatred toward us- us the Americans
Now all feel hatred toward us- us the Muslims
The constant looks, remarks, harassment we now face
From dislike to hatred is what others feel toward us now
This tragic event has scarred all of us for life
The Muslims are blamed
The Muslims are the "terrorists"
The Muslims are the bad ones
Muslims must die
These are what people are saying about us- us the Muslims
My heart has begun to crumble, as life gets harder
We must stay strong
Unite as one
Keep our chins up
Keep smiling
We must remember the One up above
Must stay strong
