Would you trust me, sister,
If I stumbled through a mile?
‘Put your soul on a scroll
And call to the Lord for a while’

Trust goes beyond life
(I might mention the grave)
Yes, trust goes beyond life
Don’t bury the brightest things
Because they will fade away tomorrow

Do not be compelled to trust –
Let the Light lead you
Who better to trust than the Lord?
