WHEN THE ANGEL COMES A CALLING
Do you feel an Angel
Touching you, tapping your stooping shoulders
Tugging at your meek heart
Do you see an Angel
Watching you
Staring into your bleary eyes
Do you hear an Angel
Wispering words of wisdom
Into your failing ears
Do you smell an Angel
Blowing the scent of cider
Into your bleeding nose
Do you taste an Angel
With the tip of your tongue
In your watering mouth
You may not, yet
Hear, see, smell, ,feel or taste
But The Angel promises;
When The Lord commands
He comes a calling
second ne`er too late
