So often I question myself about my own identity.
Who am I ? What am I?
And in reply I get vague, absurd answers
Everything and everyone has something to say
... but my inner self is always quiet.
I don’t hear a voice from within ,
the only voice whose answer I need the most , never speaks!!
I search for myself everywhere,
In earth and in sky, in darkness and in light , In day and in night ,
In noise and in quiet, I search for myself in crowds , in lone alley ways.
I search for myself in tears and smiles, I search for myself in death and life.
My spirit is a vagabond , I never stop and settle at one place.
I go on and on ...... searching for myself
searching for the voice,
the answer , the ultimate response to “ Who am I ?
