In the Name of Allah. Who Gives us Life,
and to Him do we Return.
Life’s too short To worry about such petty things as worldly goods-
What do they bring? From them, the soul is diseased with Envy, Iniquity,Wantonness,and Pride.
Oh, from man we may hide our worldly desires,
But from Him there is no defense,
between our temporal aspirations and the Hellfire;
Except for our good deeds that we acquire.
In this life we must aspire,to use our wealth to help others;
those of our sisters and brothers in destitution.
Yet we must make a resolution,to never be arrogant,
and let the recipient have the upper hand.
It is a blessing of Allah, this wealth that we possess.
And too, are the needy, a gift from up Above,
that we may give with humility, benevolence, and love.
Nay, the Prophet was our Paradigm of Compassion,and after his,
our lives should we fashion.
Yes, This life's too short,compared to the next,
to simplify in any text,A roadmap of Righteousness,
Goodwill, and Piety.Except for the Book,
Sent down to His slave,while meditating, in the cave.
This Book,The Holy Quran,Is truly the One and Only plan,
to live with Humility,Virtue,and humanity.
Yes, life's
too shortto live our liveshiding behind our Arrogance,
Disdainfulness,and Pride.To save our souls,
we surely must,In Allah put our Trust.
That He Gives and Takes, for He knows Best;
Worldly desires,we'll put to rest.
And strive to emulate, the Prophet's example.
And not negate, the Truth that binds us all,
And fear that into Hellfire will we fall,
if we do notlive This life,As though in transition,
attempting to acquire a pending position,
Among the Believers, Gardens,Streams,and Ridhwan.
For this is the Ultimate Goal,
the Final resting place of the soul,Lies within our reach,
If we only seek to live,What the Prophet sought to teach:
ThatLife's too shortto plant our roots in this soil,
For but a brief time we will toil.
To be Tested in our Faith, Charitability,Steadfastness,
and Humility. Will we pass this Test?
It's for the Almighty to say;but if we make our way,
by His Book,and His slave's representation,Then, Insha'Allah,
we will be of the Prophet's Nation,Who, on the Day of No Return,
to be with Them ,each soul will yearn.For Muhammad will plea, for Salvation,
and Mercy,to be Bestowed upon his Nation.
We can only pray to the Almighty, the Wise, the Merciful,
The Creator of the Heavens and the Earth,
that of Paradise,we will be worth.
