He is Allah the One,
Like Him is none,
Take Him as your Protector,
And be not the rejecter.
When it is He Who feeds,
While He is free of any needs,
His chastisement is fearful,
But He is most Merciful.
He is the First,
So is He the Last,
Before Whom is no first,
And after Whom is no last.
He made a pair,
To be fair,
And to rear,
And take care.
He made father,
He made mother,
He made brother,
And He made sister.
These make a society,
Although a variety,
Yet they are on parity,
Living with amity.
These grow as a civilization,
Further growing to be a nation,
To spread across the world,
Since eons it’s so old.
Every minute goes by,
Like the stars in the sky,
Countless as they are,
Parting behind us so far.
Hither and thither,
Men scatter,
As rains shatter,
Oblivious of the Creator...
