Have you ever posted a story, an article, or a poem, and not received any comments or feedback? Have you ever wondered whether the piece conveyed the idea you had intended for it, or carried the message that you wanted? Have you ever just wondered what people thought?

Have you ever read a piece and then left without commenting?...
The MWS is meant to provide a supportive, stimulating environment for Muslim writers to post their works and maybe even receive a little bit of feedback. Just maybe.

So the next time you read something and really like it, leave a comment and tell the writer so. If, on the other hand, you read a piece and really don’t like it, or feel as if it could stand a few improvements, leave a polite comment saying so. Post anonymously if you wish, but just remember to post. Without your input, the MWS is the publishing equivalent of a message in a bottle. You roll the story up, put it into the little glass bottle and throw it out to sea, never receiving a reply or even proof that anyone has read it aside from the stat on the side that says your story has 25 reads.

Ma’Assalam :)
