I wasn’t Lutheran
I wasn’t born with a silver spoon
I don’t agree with Rush Limbaugh
My father was not a good old boy
I don’t have a rich husband
Somebody told me I wasn’t ‘mexican’ enough because
I wasn’t born in Mexico
I’m not Catholic
I’m not into Mariachi bands
My father did not ‘escape’ here to America
I wasn’t married at 16
Somebody told me I was not "Palestinian’ enough because
I wasn’t born in the occupied zone
I not an angry militant
I’m not ready to blow myself up
My father did not matyr himself
I don’t hate jews
