In the whisper of silence,
In the blanket of the night,
I sit bearing the weight of a mountain
Upon my crushed heart...
Eyes full of tears and
A soul full of shame,
I beg to be in his grace once again,
To walk again the path of the righteous,
To be counted among the pious,
How easily we become misled!
How much my actions I now dread
I beg for his Divine Mercy with my might,
For only he can bring the Light,
The Light to illuminate my soul,
To help me have patience and control,
I do not want to awake blind and deaf!
I want there to be peace within my chest,
Ya Ghafoor! Ya Ghafar! Ya Raheem! Ya Rehman!
Ya Kareem! Ya Sami! Ya Wali!
I beg for Forgiveness from Thee!
