By Tavis Adibudeen
A glass jar inside of a box
A box inside of a chest
A chest inside of a room
A room inside of a prison
Looking out, looking out
Marveling at what is not
Pondering what could be
Fantasy and imagination
Eyes now closing, eyes now closing
Ears covered, sound blocked out
I see only you, I see…
I doubt and then I see…
I cry and then I see…
The traveler ties his camel when he’s home
Home inside his jar
He’s comfortable, but not in his home
Looking out, still seeking
Looking out, still wondering
Looking out, trying to see
But I see nothing, only creatures
I see nothing, only objects
Objective I am not
They graze and then they release
They stampede, they sleep
Looking in, looking in
I see a mirror, I stop and look
The inside is out, the home is in
No jar, no box, no chest, no room, no prison
The gate is open and the key is delivered
Deliverance from imprisonment
Freedom in union, power in nothingness
I see you and nothing else
I see nothing else or I see all
I AM all…
Eyes open, ears can hear
The light, illumination, resplendence
A match that lights the flame
A spark that ignites, the heavens rejoice
The sorrow is undone
There is only One… Last update : 19-12-2002 00:53
