A brief poem dedicated to the king of all things

Unparalleled spirit of truth and hope

Unblemished purity and pefection

The mountains upon the shore

The moon glistening over the stars

God All Mighty.

Post-Rainbow & Beyond I am Violet A sibling of purple, lurking deep in the moody side of the spectrum. The colour of sigh, and of longing! Fools crowd my lair, but angels fear to tread Indigo— I is the Ego—

My father
I prose to you
With Allah above as Witness.
Hasn’t He gifted you by me
In obedience to you, a dutiful daughter
Your pleasure, the boast of your laughter.

My father
To you is your nationality
That blinds you
To you is your culture
That suppresses you
To you is your arrogance
That overwhelms you.

My tiny little miracle

I loved you before your heart began to beat

I dreamed of holding you in my arms

While singing you to sleep

But then my hopes shattered

Bleeding away in a river of red

Now the floods of tears that flash thru my soul

Leave it barren as my womb.....

InshaAllah,both become fertile again.

A short poem dedicated to Salah:

sunlight bathing the eyes in innocence

the heart whispering to the soul

The dust of the earth honoring the forehead with glee

The oceans beauty upon the hands purified by its waters

The Lords command upon thee as a means of making thee perfect in character
