What Next?- Muhammad Haroon

Every sort of particle is adulterating a jar of honey one by one, after the sieve in place has been removed carrying with it coarser elements.
U. C. Chopra in his book, Amazing World of Insect, Publication Division, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, writes, on honey: Its purity is such that with its enormously rich concentration of health-giving sugars, properly ripened honey, even when exposed to external contamination, destroys all harmful bacteria that may settle on it, dealing them death within an hour or so. [P. 41]

So what’s up with the heart anyway? A pure one is hard to find, and though there are plenty of decent ones, they tend to develop spots after a while. People try to use the heart as a metaphor for your true self or sincere desires (follow your heart?) but what they don’t realize is that the heart is not a compass. It’s more like a headstrong puppy on a leash that pulls you in whatever direction in wants, whether or not it’s the right one. Sometimes it goes the right way, but other times it wants to run out into the street into traffic because it smelled something interesting there. Bad heart, sit. I said sit!...

WEALTH- An Introduction

Wealth, along with all other blessings, is from Allah. This is mentioned clearly in the Qur’an. “…And if ye fear poverty soon will Allah enrich you if He wills out of his bounty for Allah is All-Knowing All-Wise.” [9:28]Allah is described in one prayer in the Qur’an as:“…and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest without measure." [3:27]Indeed,“Gracious is Allah to His servants: He gives Sustenance to whom He pleases: and He has Power and can carry out His Will.” [42:19]

So all creatures, great or small, rely upon Allah for their Rizq:“There is no moving creature on earth but its sustenance dependeth on Allah: He knoweth the time and place of its temporary deposit: all is in a clear Record.” [11:6]

For centuries Christianity was the dominant religion in the world, it felt no threat from any other way of life or any other philosophy at that time. And Christianity was dominating and the church had the highest authority, but it was all until Islam emerged in the main stage and people accepted Islam in huge waves, the conversions were so massive that Islam became the threat to the faith and creed of Christianity. For the first time in the history of Christianity it faced a very strong competitor, a very strong opponent according to the followers of the Christianity.

The enmity of Islam grew very much amongst the learned men of Christendom and they wanted to respond to the call of Islam in every possible way and this even included the military action against the Muslims...

So often do I talk about how that closeness to Allah SWT is lost and how to get it back. There are different things out there that work for different people. For one person it may be through community service. For another it may be through being an active member of the MSA or other organization. Or maybe its a few minutes of solitary reflection everyday.

Whatever it is, the connection is there. And to get that connection is a real achievement. I am so jealous [in a good way] at the people who have obtained that closeness and are able to hang on to it. Its one thing to get it. But another to be able to keep it with you, to not let it slip through your fingers...
